Class textbook and Applications

Reasoning and Reading Cover
This 137-page book is a complete revision of the original workbook of the same title. Synonyms, Words in Context, Relationships-Comparison, Generalizations, Cause-Effect, Judging Opinions, and Syllogisms are a few of the topics covered along with many more.
Thinkanologies Cover
In Thinkanalogies students analyze 30 potential analogy pairs, evaluating word meanings and relationships to find the best matches. Then they classify each analogy by type—a process that’s vital to understanding an analogous relationship. Analogy types in all levels include kind of, part of, synonym of, antonym of. Higher levels also include symbol of, product of, person who, something used to, degree of, and property of.
Word Roots cover
Word Roots teaches students the meanings of Latin prefixes, roots, and suffixes commonly used in English. For each lesson students first learn the meanings of prefixes, roots, and suffixes. Then they: Divide known and unknown words into their elements or assemble elements to form whole words. Match word parts or whole words to their definitions by analyzing their meanings. Apply their new vocabulary in sentences.
